The guest-farm “Valcelle” is born from the renovation of an ancient farmhouse belonging to the XVII century: mantaining the typical architectural tuscan style of XVII/XIX centuries, it offers a full immersion experience in the countryside of Valdichiana and its traditions.

Located on top of a hill and surrounded by ca. 60 hectares of land belonging to the property, mainly growing wineyards and olive groves, it makes it possible to enjoy the wonderful landscapes of the tuscan hills.

Deep in nature and tranquility, charachterized by a family-like and welcoming atmosphere, a place to stay surrounded by lands filled with stories and traditions, nature and art, gastronomy and folklore.

Hand in hand with the traditions and spontaneity of the tuscan countryside, sided by apartements and products tasting like the old times.

For the guests it’s also available a comfortable and very nicely(panoramically, from a panoramic pov/standpoint) positioned swimming pool.

The guestfarm is located close to the ancient route Cassia Adrianea, a few kilometres away from Pienza, Montepulciano and Cortona, in the heart of one of the most famous tuscan lands, thanks to its beautiful lands, its artistic and historical wonders and its speialita enogastronomiche.

Valcelle offers different typologies of independent apartments, restored according to the traditional tuscanian style, taking their names from the old small farms.

Moreover it’s possible to sojourn in the ancient master’s villa, distinguished for its big locals and still decorated with the original forniture(decor).

In the guestfarm site, located where th old olive-press used to be, there is a small restaurant, run by the owner’s family, where it’s possible to enjoy typical products prepared following the tuscan culinary tradition.

Guests can also access a vast garden provided with wood-burning oven, barbecue and swimming pool and equipped with umbrellas, tanning beds and tables.

The reception are is provived with wi-fi.

deteriorating health has prevented us for continuing to visit. Elisa and Andrea are fabulous hosts.   Don’t expect modern accommodation, you are staying on a Tuscan farm and it is done in Tuscan farm style.

Wat een fantastische plek, wat een ontzettend lieve, behulpzame en enthousiaste eigenaren. Bij aankomst stond een heerlijke traditionele Italiaanse maaltijd klaar, we hebben gebruik gemaakt van hun pizzaoven met lokale ingrediënten en op de donderdag hadden we een fantastisch diner dat met zoveel smaak en gastvrijheid was klaargemaakt. Echt voortreffelijk wat betreft smaak, sfeer en omgeving. Het huis is prachtig met hele mooie verblijven, een prachtig zwembad en een adembenemend mooi Toscaans uitzicht. Het ligt op een prachtige plek tussen de toscaanse steden en in het dorp is een super treinverbinding naar Siena. Kortom, alles klopte en we hebben een fantastische week gehad. Het eten wordt bereid door Andrea en is overheerlijk. 4 gangen. 'S avonds met andere gasten bij een vallende avond samen eten op de binnenplaats met sfeerverlichting. What else? Een hele fijne plek!
